June 11, at 24:00 GMT. These are the new date and time limit for submitting papers for the TICAL2018 Conference and the 2nd Latin American e-Science Meeting. The extension of the deadline (previously May 7), will allow even more researchers and academics to send their proposals and participate in the event, which will take place between September 3 and 5, 2018, at the Las Americas Convention Center, in Cartagena de Indias, Colombia. And remember, registrations are already open, with discounts for those who register until August 2.
The decision contemplates the two calls, that, despite sharing the same theme - "Digital Transformation in Institutions of Higher Education, Science and Culture" -, are individual and distinct due to the different public to which are addressed, to the proposed thematic lines and, above all, to its different ways of approaching the digital transformation, the first from the Superior Education area and, the second, from the world of Science and Arts.

The papers must be sent in strictly compliance with the format established in the Authors' Guide of both events.
Regarding the benefits for the selected works, both TICAL and the e-Science Meeting will cover the costs of transferring one of the researchers responsible for the selected paper to the venue of the events (Cartagena de Indias, Colombia).
